I'm having fun right now doing a few watercolors of flowers. I just love the different varieties of colors, shapes, and textures that they have.

Twin Boys

Right now I am expecting twin boys and am anxiously waiting for them to come. Hopefully they will be born sometime in Januaury.

Milkaholic

Evelyn has inherited my love for milk. We go through about four gallons a week.

I still have some work to do on this piece, but I'd thought I'd let you see my progress.

Icecream

Evelyn loves feeding the dogs. Usually it's frootloops or goldfish crackers but yesterday I found her feeding Woody icecream by the spoonful. Needless to say it got taken away and washed but only after I took a picture. :)

Babysitting

Last Thursday I got to watch two of my friend's kids while she chaperoned a school field trip. They saw me painting in my studio and wanted to paint too. So, I got out the watercolors and let them at it. We had lots of fun. I loved how they got so excited about making new colors.

On Saturday my husband and I were working on putting up a playhouse in our backyard for our daughter. This is how we found her. She had found the water balloons (which she wasn't supposed to get into) we had been filling up earlier that day for a church bbq and fell into the dogs water dish. We heard her crying because she was stuck and I couldn't help but take a picture.

Lounging

I found my daughter like this this morning watching cartoons. Oh dear.

Garden

Our garden this spring has been doing great. Our strawberries are finally producing and we just planted raspberries this year! Our summer squash has also been thriving and cherry tomatoes are growing great without splitting.

I've been working on this new painting and have hit a block today. It just doesn't look rough enough for me. Here are some photos in progress.

Any suggestions? I hate being stuck.

My daughter likes to play in my studio while I'm painting. Usually she climbs on top on of the table and throws things off or spreads tons of legos around but today she decided to help me paint. Too bad it's going to be painted over. :)

New Pot Rack!

James, Evelyn, and I all took a trip up to Phoenix last Friday and stopped at IKEA. I love that store! This is just one of the treasures we found there.

I found this cool little plant at Lowe's the other day and decided to give it a home. I think I'll paint it.

New Paintings

I finished these two paintings this last month. I wanted to take a different approach with my work and start mixing in some more realism.

My Little Jedi

Being a fan of Star Wars I decided it was time for my daughter to learn how to use a lightsaber. She took to it almost too well. :)
